Finland made a lot of efforts to show resistance to their opponents, but the maximum they were able to do, was to decrease the gap to two. Then Luxembourg took the initiative and finished with a seven-goal advantage.
Consequently, as we know, on the final day of the tournament, Luxembourg and Faroe play against each other for positions 5 or 6,whereas Finland and Georgia fight for the 7th or 8th positions.
Henriksson with 8 goals was named the best from Finland, and Goalkeeper Hadrovic became the man of the match from Luxembourg.
Miska Henriksson (Finland, MOTM): I think we played like a rollercoaster, it wasn’t really good. In the beginning I played well, but you start to feel tiredness in the legs after a couple of games when you run, so it didn’t go as planned. I’m not really satisfied with how I personally played, I could’ve done better, but it is what it is. I would rate my teams’ game in the second half with a strong 9, but the rest of the game would have to be a 7. We’ll try to work on ourselves more, so that we don’t get tired too easily in the future.
Kenan Hadrovich (Luxembourg, GK, MOTM): I think my team and I played a good game, in the second half we had difficulties but we came back stronger and we won the game. I would rate my teams game with a 7 out of 10.
